You can use the same eSIM when:
- The eSIM has a top-up package available for purchase.
- The eSIM is still installed on your device.
- You will use the eSIM in a supported country or countries.
When you purchase an eSIM, you’ll see whether it has top-up packages available. If you plan to use the same eSIM again, please do not uninstall it.
You can keep it installed and simply disable it under Data Plans when you’re not using it. You can continue adding data packages to your eSIM as long as top-up options are available.
Please note that you can only use your eSIM and data packages in supported countries.
When you cannot use the same eSIM:
- There are no top-up options available.
- You plan to use your eSIM in a different country that is not supported.
- If there are no top-up options available for your eSIM, it is for one-time use only. You can safely uninstall the eSIM from your device once the data package has been used or has expired.
If you want to use your eSIM in another country, make sure your eSIM and data packages support the country you are visiting. Otherwise, you will not be able to use it.
Remember:
- Local eSIMs only support a single country.
- Regional and global eSIMs cover multiple countries.
